The Harbour is a Bristol-based charity that provides professional counselling and psychotherapy for people facing emotional and psychological crisis as a result of a physical life-threatening illness. Our experienced therapists offer support to people who are ill themselves, those close to them, and people recently bereaved by illness.
People affected by a life-threatening illness can feel very isolated, unable to discuss their problems and feelings with those around them. Talking to a skilled therapist gives them an opportunity to deal constructively with their fears, regrets and grief. It enables them to address issues from their past experience which may surface at such a time. This support can help people under severe emotional pressure find the strength to manage their lives.
We provide services for people living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and further afield, provided that they can travel to our premises in central Bristol.
