The Mindful Employer website is full of useful resources about managing mental health at work.

Keeping Well at Work is a guide to managing mental health in the workplace, returning to work after a period of sickness and talking to colleagues and managers. More information about The Equality Act 2010 from Citizens Advice can be found here.

Acas the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, supplies up-to-date information, independent advice and works with employers and employees to solve problems and improve performance.  Acas offers advice on a wide range of employment issues via their website and telephone helpline 0300 123 1100 (8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday).  ACAS: promoting positive mental health at work   is written for employers but useful for employees.

Advice West  provides links to organisations offering a wide range of employment related services including legal advice.

Citizens Advice provides a wide range of information if you are off work because of sickness, including information about Employment and Support Allowance.

Avon and Bristol Law Centre  provide free legal advice over the telephone for South Glos residents.

GOV.UK: taking sick leave is a good place to start if you are looking for information on taking sick leave.

Mind have a really helpful guide to staying mentally healthy at work.  There are practical suggestions for what you can do if you are experiencing stress or bullying and where you can go for support.

The Money Advice Service is a free, unbiased and independent service with a section covering work, pensions and retirement.

NHS Choices  has guidance on sharing medical information with employers.
